Southern Empire Lawns

About Southern Empire Lawns

Summer in East Bend is farm ponds gone still, cicadas working the treeline, and a thunderhead building somewhere over the river most afternoons. Southern Empire Lawns mows between those storms — cutting high enough to hold moisture through a dry stretch, trimming pond banks and mailbox posts, blowing the drive clean so nothing tracks indoors. There is a satisfaction in stripes laid straight across a wide Yadkin County yard and a border that looks drawn rather than cut. When the season turns, the leaves come off and the beds get cleared before winter. Steady work, week after week, on the same familiar roads.
