About Vert Life LLC

Loblollies stand tall along Cornwallis Road, and the yards beneath them live in moving shade with a soft brown drift of needles piling at every edge. Vert Life LLC keeps those Durham lawns cut to suit that light — mowing at a height shade can carry, trimming around trunks and retaining walls, edging where the needles want to blur the boundary, clearing decks, walks and drives at the finish. Beds are weeded, cut in and mulched; shrubs are shaped to fit a house instead of swallow it. Needles and leaves come off the turf in autumn so the grass heads into winter with room to breathe. Green, level, and clean at every edge — that is the whole ambition, and it shows from the street.
