Flores Service

About Flores Service

The day starts early on Ninth Street, bakery lights on and the mill houses of Old West Durham still deep in the shade of their hollies. Flores Service is out in that first cool hour, mowing the narrow side yards and long back lots the mill village left behind, working the trimmer around porch posts, brick steps and fence corners a mower will never reach. Edges are cut back along the walk, and the drive is blown bare before the truck rolls. Beds get weeded and topped with mulch, shrubs get shaped, and cleanups run at both ends of the season. By the time the street fills with people, the work is finished and the block stands a little straighter.
