Lawns by Carlito

About Lawns by Carlito

Saturday mornings in Lakewood begin with somebody's mower two streets over, and often enough it is this one. Lawns by Carlito keeps bermuda cut close and fescue cut tall — the small difference between a lawn that looks handled and one that merely looks short. Edging along the drive, trimming the fence corners, clearing the walks and the street back to bare pavement: the finish is where the pride lives. Durham summers run long and wet enough to grow grass in a hurry, so the calendar barely lets up until the leaves come down. Yards across the city and the towns nearby.
