About Down East Lawn Care, LLC

The Deep River rises in the northwest corner of Guilford County and takes its time getting anywhere, and the yards along it keep the same unhurried green. Down East Lawn Care mows, edges and trims through the long Piedmont summer, when the red clay bakes pale and the oaks throw shade halfway across a lawn by six in the evening. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of the day: the clippings blown off the drive, the border between grass and gravel drawn clean as a pencil line. Cicadas take the field the moment the engines cut off. Come fall the leaves go where leaves ought to go, and the yard is handed back tidy. Deep River, High Point and Jamestown are all a short drive, and the truck knows the roads.
