About Joe Ruckers Lawn Care Services

Davidson-Concord Road is empty at half past five in the morning, nothing but headlights and the rattle of a trailer gate coming down. Joe Ruckers Lawn Care Services loads up in that dark and is cutting the first yard by the time the sky over the Piedmont turns gray-blue. Mowing, edging, trimming and clearing run all week from spring through fall, then shift into leaf work once the oaks commit. Starting early matters where July afternoons hit as hard as they do here, since grass cut in the cool takes it far better. By late afternoon the route is behind them, the truck rides heavy with the day, and a dozen yards stand sharp along the road home.
