The South Prong Rocky River slips along the eastern side of Davidson, and the low ground near it grows grass faster and holds water longer than anything up on the ridge. Ivey's Landscaping and Lawn Care LLC knows those lots well, mowing the soft bottoms with a light touch, trimming along fencelines and culverts, keeping the tall stuff cut back where lawn gives way to creek brush. Elsewhere it is the standard circuit: edging, cleanup, mulch when the beds ask for it, and cutbacks as the year turns. Warm nights and heavy dew push Piedmont turf hard from May into September, and regular visits are the only real answer to that. A clean cut on a creekside yard with the edges held is a small win worth having every week.
