About Pro Tree Services

Come April everything at this crossroads turns yellow for a week — pine pollen on the trucks, the porch rails and the dog — and then the dogwoods open along the fencerows and the Piedmont gets on with spring. Pro Tree Services works those bright early mornings, when it is cool enough to climb and the neighborhood is still quiet: pruning cuts on maples and oaks, trimming limbs back from roofs and drives, deadwood pulled from crowns before the leaves hide it again. Removals are the heavy days, sectioned down where houses sit close and fences run tight to the trunk. Thunderstorm season follows soon after, and with it the cleanup calls — a pine top in the yard, a hardwood across the drive, hauled off and raked clean. There is a real pleasure in leaving a place open to the light with the ground swept behind you.
