About Cowee Handyman Services

The Cowee valley runs green along the Little Tennessee, and the old gem mines up the road still draw people out to sift gravel for rubies in July. Cowee Handyman Services keeps Macon County places in order across both halves of the year — mowing, trimming and edging while the valley is growing, then plowing, shoveling and salting once winter comes down off the mountains. Snow up here does not so much arrive as accumulate, one grey afternoon at a time, and driveways in the coves hold onto it. Clearing a lane so somebody can get to Franklin and back is the sort of small thing a place runs on. And the first warm week after, the grass is already thinking about it.
