About Leatherneck Lawnscapes, LLC

July out here is long and generous with its light — grass grows an inch while you're looking at it, and the Neuse bottomland breathes humidity from sunup until well past supper. Leatherneck Lawnscapes, LLC keeps up with it: mowing on a tight rotation, trimming fence rows, edging where the drive meets the yard, and blowing the walks clean at the end. On a flat piece of Lenoir County ground there is nowhere for a crooked line to hide, so a straight one is the only kind to cut. Autumn slows the cutting and turns the days toward cleanups and leaves. Then the pecans drop, the season turns over, and it begins again.
