Quality Greens Landscapes

About Quality Greens Landscapes

By mid-April everything in the Catawba Valley wears a film of yellow pine pollen, and the first hard rain washes it off into the gutters and leaves the world looking rinsed and new. Quality Greens Landscapes starts the real season right about then across Hickory — mowing as growth takes hold, trimming the ragged corners, edging beds back into shape, spreading mulch while the ground is still cool. Through summer it is upkeep: even cuts, weeded beds, shrubs kept in their outlines, walks blown clear. In fall the leaves come off the oaks and maples and the turf gets aerated and seeded for the year ahead. Green grass in these foothills is mostly a matter of showing up at the right moments, and those moments are known.
