About Gonzalez Lawn Care, LLC

A freight horn out toward US 70 carries clear across Cleveland's open ground, and in July that sound arrives with heat already standing in the air. Gonzalez Lawn Care, LLC works straight through it — mowing the wide front yards, trimming around crape myrtle and mailbox, then blowing red clay dust and cuttings off the drive until the concrete shows its own color again. Rowan County summers ask a great deal of a lawn, and the answer is simple and steady: cut at a height the grass can live with, keep the edges honest, take the debris away. The best minute of the day is the last pass, when the stripes line up and the truck pulls off leaving a yard that somehow looks ten degrees cooler than it did an hour before. This is lawn care measured in weeks kept, one Cleveland address at a time.
