About Colin Cutz and Landscaping

Mid-April in Concord arrives yellow, pine pollen on every windshield from Cox Mill down to the courthouse, dogwoods opening white behind the deep porches on Union Street. Colin Cutz and Landscaping starts the season right there, taking the winter shag off a lawn and putting a true edge back along the walk. The work runs to mowing and trimming, bed edging and mulch, shrub shaping, seasonal cleanups, and planting when a yard is ready for something new in it. There is a particular satisfaction in the first clean stripe of the year across a Cabarrus County front yard. After the first good rain washes the pollen down the gutters, the whole street looks like it woke up.
