About B&S Lawn Care LLC

Past the edge of Columbia the land runs flat to the horizon in corn and soybean, squared off by canals, and the sky does every bit of the scenery. B&S Lawn Care LLC keeps one eye on that sky from May onward, because a thunderhead can stack up over the sound by two in the afternoon and the mowing has to be finished ahead of it. The work is cutting, trimming, edging a clean margin along the ditch bank, and clearing the cuttings so nothing washes into the water. Tidewater grass grows hard and fast in this heat, which means showing up on schedule rather than when it finally looks bad. Late in the day, with the storm gone through and the yards standing even and rinsed, the flat country out here looks about as good as it gets.
