About Turning Leaves Inc

By late October the oaks and pecans over Clinton start letting go, and for a few weeks every yard in Sampson County lies under an inch of gold. Turning Leaves Inc meets that stretch head-on: blowers running, lawns raked down to green, the turf breathing again before the first frost reaches the fields. The rest of the year it is mowing and trimming and keeping edges honest, week after week, so the grass goes into fall already strong. There's a particular pleasure in the last pass of an afternoon, the yard bare and open and the leaves gone to the curb. Winter light out here comes in thin and low, and a clean lawn holds it well.
