Lane's Lawn Services

About Lane's Lawn Services

Late afternoon in Clinton has a habit of building a thunderhead out over the flatwoods, and everybody who works outside learns to read it. Lane's Lawn Services moves with that sky, getting a lawn trimmed and tidied before the first fat drops hit the pavement toward Six Runs Creek. The sandy loam out here pushes grass fast once the rain comes, so the rhythm stays steady from March into October. There is a plain satisfaction in a yard finished ahead of the weather: borders held, clippings gathered, nothing left for the storm to scatter. Sampson County has always favored people who keep going while the light holds.
