Dry's Lawn Care

About Dry's Lawn Care

Fog sits low over Third Creek most mornings before the sun gets high enough to burn it off Cleveland's bottomland, and that is when the mowers roll out. Dry's Lawn Care works the yards along the creek roads and the short streets of this small Rowan County town, cutting clean lines into dew-heavy fescue and running the trimmer close where grass meets fence post, mailbox and porch step. By the time the last of the mist lifts off the pasture, a yard that looked shaggy at seven o'clock reads even and finished from the road. The week is mowing, edging, string trimming, bed upkeep and hauling the clippings off — plain work, repeated well. In a town this size a neighbor notices a sharp line along the walk, and that noticing is the whole reason to make it.
