About Marty's Tree & Outdoor Service

US 129 stitches its way over the mountain in switchbacks, and everything about Cheoah — the ridges, the drop-offs, the trees leaning out over the road — is vertical. Marty's Tree & Outdoor Service does the work that verticality creates: tree removal and limb work, storm cleanup, brush hauled off, plus mowing, trimming and general outdoor upkeep once the ground is clear again. Ice and wind bring hardwoods down here without asking, usually in the middle of the night. Getting a drive opened before the day properly starts, sawdust in the air and the ridge coming out of the fog, is about as good as a morning gets. The mountain keeps making work; the saw keeps showing up.
