Turf Works

About Turf Works

Every April, Charlotte turns briefly gold-green, as pine pollen dusts porches and parked cars while lawns shake off their winter dormancy. Turf Works is a lawn care outfit devoted to the turf itself — mowed, trimmed and kept in shape as it wakes. Along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, walkers pass under fresh leaves, and the city's yards follow the same pulse of renewal. A sharp new edge along the driveway, an even cut across the front, the walk swept bright — small finishing touches that let a home greet spring well. Plainly done turf work suits a city in bloom.
