About Heaven and Earth Landscaping

South of the city the sky does most of the talking. Storms build over the Piedmont in the afternoon and come across Ballantyne from the west with that green-grey shoulder ahead of them, and half an hour later the sun is back and the grass has grown. Heaven and Earth Landscaping works the yards between Blakeney and Providence on that rhythm — mowing and trimming between the weather, edging the long curved drives, laying mulch that will hold when the rain comes hard. What is underfoot gets the same attention as what is overhead: beds cleaned to bare soil, roots covered, clippings gathered rather than scattered. On a clear evening after all that, a finished lawn out here holds the last of the light like it was made for it.
