Lawns of Charlotte

About Lawns of Charlotte

Charlotte takes its winter in short, serious visits: a night of freezing rain, a morning when the whole city agrees to stay home. Lawns of Charlotte is moving before the first light shows over the uptown towers, plowing driveways and lots, opening walks, salting the shaded curves and north-facing slopes where the glaze hangs on all day. Ice matters more than depth in this part of the Piedmont — an inch of it will close a street that six inches of powder would not. The work is done when the pavement is dark and dry and a car can get out without anybody thinking twice. Snow and ice service across Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Huntersville and Concord.
