Lawn Tailors

About Lawn Tailors

A lawn takes a seam the way cloth does, and Lawn Tailors cuts one on purpose. Up in the older streets of Chapel Hill, where the yards roll and the driveways curve and almost nothing is a rectangle, the edge along a walk is the single line that makes the whole property look measured. So the mowing runs get planned, the trim work follows the shape of the beds instead of fighting it, and the borders come out crisp enough to sight down. Piedmont grass grows in a hurry from April to October, which means the fit has to be checked and taken in again every week. Done right, a yard here wears its cut like something made to size.
