Garcia's Tree Services and Lawn Care

About Garcia's Tree Services and Lawn Care

August in Cerro Gordo holds its heat until nearly nine at night, cicadas going in the pecan trees, the light turning copper over the fields. Garcia's Tree Services and Lawn Care works with that clock — mowing, trimming and edging early while the grass is still cool, tree work and removals through the middle of the day, mulch and cleanups when the heat finally lets up. There is a moment at the end of a hot round when the yard is clipped even, the walk is blown clean, and the whole property seems to exhale. Winter down here is mild and short, so the mower never stays put away for long. Steady hands, ordinary tools, a place that looks better than it did at sunrise.
