About Turf Wizards

September is the month that decides a Triangle lawn. Turf Wizards spends it on the turf itself, cores pulled and left on top to melt back into the ground, seed worked down into the openings, mowing kept low so the new grass can find light. Cary summers are hard on cool-season fescue, and this fall repair is what carries a yard through the next one. By late October the thin patches have closed and the color is back across the whole front, which never stops being satisfying to look at. Mowing, aeration and overseeding, trimming and edging, on the calendar the grass actually keeps.
