Spring Green

About Spring Green

March in Cary is a slow reveal: the fescue wakes first, then the dogwoods over on the Reedy Creek side of town, and inside of three weeks the whole place has turned from tan to green. Spring Green works that turn — feeding lawns as they come out of dormancy, treating weeds before they get a foothold, and putting the first cuts in at the right height. Through the season the routine is mowing, edging, trimming and blowing, kept weekly so nothing gets away. Fall brings the part that matters most in this transition-zone clay: core aeration to open the soil, overseeding to thicken whatever the summer thinned. The result is the thing most homeowners want and few say out loud — a lawn that simply looks right, from the mailbox to the back fence.
