About Ponti Landscapes Inc

South of town the American Tobacco Trail runs its long straight line through the pines, and in late October the light comes sideways through them all afternoon. Ponti Landscapes Inc works the yards on either side of that stretch, where lots are wide and the grass has to fight tree roots for everything it gets. The weekly rounds are mowing, edging, trimming and blowing; the seasonal ones are mulch in spring, shrub shaping through summer, and cleanups when the leaves finally let go. Aeration and overseeding go down in fall so the fescue comes back thick, while fertilization and weed control hold the line through the humid stretch of the year. There is a plain pleasure in a finished yard — nothing shaggy, nothing left on the walk.
