About Cedar Fork, Inc.

Cedar Fork was the name of this township long before the office parks arrived, and the creek it was named for still runs east toward Lake Crabtree. Cedar Fork, Inc. tends lawns across that same ground in every month of the year, including the bare February weeks when the wind comes flat off the lake and the fescue is only holding on. Late winter is for cutbacks and cleanup; spring is for the first mow, sharp edges and new mulch; summer is the weekly beat of mowing, trimming and blowing. Fall brings the part that decides next year — core aeration, overseeding, and a feeding schedule that carries the turf through. It is unglamorous, repeated work, and it is exactly what makes a Cary yard look effortless in May.
