About Carolina Green

Dig anywhere in Cary and you hit the same bright red clay that built this part of the Piedmont, packed hard beneath a canopy of loblolly pine. Carolina Green works with what that ground gives, mowing on a set weekly line, trimming out the fence corners, keeping turf thick enough to hold through a June that runs hot by nine in the morning. A cardinal will follow the mower for the insects it turns up, and the crew has come to expect the company. Nothing about a well-kept lawn here happens by accident; the pride is in the consistency, week to week, yard to yard. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup are the tools, and a level green stretch out front is the result.
