About Felix Tree Expert, LLC

West of Franklin the road follows Cartoogechaye Creek up toward Winding Stair, and every cove along it grows more tree than a yard can comfortably hold. Felix Tree Expert works those coves — dropping a dead locust clear of a fence line, trimming poplar limbs back from a cabin's metal roof, pruning dogwoods and maples so they hold their shape as the woods press in. In April the valley greens from the bottom upward, and by June all that shade needs managing again. When a storm comes down off Wayah and lays a pine across the drive, the day becomes cutting, hauling and sweeping until the gravel shows once more. It is a straightforward trade with a visible result: a roof clear, a drive open, and shade kept where shade belongs.
