Tripp's Turf

About Tripp's Turf

October hands Canetuck its kindest weather: dry air, high blue skies, and combines working the soybean fields while dust hangs gold behind them. Tripp's Turf treats that cooling stretch as the time to get a lawn right, since warm-season grass still wants mowing as it slows toward dormancy and the first sweetgum and oak leaves need gathering before they mat down. Turf is right there in the name, and the work keeps its eye on the grass itself: even height, sharp lines, a surface lying flat as a pressed shirt. Long after the fields are cut to stubble and the first cool nights bring wood smoke drifting over the crossroads, a yard kept this way still looks combed and cared for.
