About Norris Lawn & Landscaping, Inc

The Piedmont does not get much snow, which is exactly why a Burlington winter storm matters so much when it comes. A January system slides in overnight, the rain stiffens into sleet somewhere past midnight, and by four in the morning the driveways off Church Street are glazed and silent. Norris Lawn & Landscaping, Inc is out in it — plowing, clearing drives and walkways, treating the slopes where ice has taken hold. The payoff is small and it never gets old: headlights on a dark drive, a black stripe cut down to the road, somebody able to get to work. When the thaw arrives and the whole county drips, the work turns to what the storm left behind.
