About May's Lawn Care and Landscaping, Inc.

Evening light in Burlington falls long down the old mill streets, over porch rails and dogwoods somebody planted a lifetime ago. May's Lawn Care and Landscaping, Inc. works those lots and the newer ones out toward the bypass, mowing, edging and trimming on a set rotation. Red clay here bakes hard by August, so beds are mulched and plantings set with an eye to what the ground will actually hold. Shrubs are pruned back to shape rather than shorn flat, and the leaf work carries on past Thanksgiving because the oaks are stubborn about it. What is left at the end of a visit is a clean line at every edge and nothing scattered where it does not belong.
