Smithscapes

About Smithscapes

Late afternoon under a Burgaw live oak, the shade comes down in pieces and every shrub line in the yard shows its true shape. Smithscapes works with that geometry, cutting hollies and ligustrum back to a form that suits the house instead of one that just fits the shears. Beds get edged in a clean arc, mulch laid to a consistent depth, and the lawn mowed so the border between bed and grass is a decision rather than an accident. In a climate where things grow eleven months out of twelve, keeping that shape takes returning, not rescuing. Structure first, then everything green around it falls into place.
