About Kevin's Lawn Service

The neighborhoods out along the Waxhaw and Marvin roads have the kind of yards people actually use — bikes lying on their sides, a goal set in the grass, a hedge line where the woods take over. Kevin's Lawn Service keeps them ready for that, cutting Buford on a set week so Friday afternoon always finds the grass short and the borders true. It is a small pleasure and a genuine one: stepping out onto a lawn mowed hours earlier, trimmed tight at the fence, with the driveway swept clean. Union County soil will grow anything a person allows it to, which makes the schedule the entire trick. He keeps the schedule, and the yards show it.
