About Britt’s Outdoor Services

The Lumber River runs tea-dark and unhurried past this end of Robeson County, and the yards nearby take their weather from it — heavy dew, long humid afternoons, a breeze that arrives late. Britt's Outdoor Services mows, trims and shapes those yards, keeping the beds honest where the grass tries to creep in and carrying the season's growth off before it can mat. Cypress and gum hold the low ground; the lawns hold the high, and somebody has to keep the line between them. There is real satisfaction in a corner turned tight around a mailbox post and a walk swept until the concrete looks new. Britts, Proctorville and the roads out toward Fairmont are the neighborhood.
