Barkleys lawn care

About Barkleys lawn care

The Lumber River runs dark as steeped tea through this corner of Robeson County, and mornings near Britts come up with mist off the blackwater and cypress standing in it. Barkleys lawn care is out in that first hour — mowing while the dew holds, edging drives, running the trimmer along fence posts and porch skirting. Robeson soil is sandy and forgiving, but from April on it grows grass in a hurry, so the schedule stays honest. Fall means cleanups: pine straw, limbs, leaves, all of it gathered and hauled off. There is a plain pride in leaving a lawn with a straight line the whole way around it.
