Hamilton Well & Water

About Hamilton Well & Water

Transylvania County collects water in every form it can, and once or twice a winter it collects it as ice — the falls above Brevard silvering over, the Davidson River running black between white banks. Hamilton Well & Water meets those days with snow plowing, driveway and lot clearing, and ice treatment on the walks that never see full sun. Roads climbing toward Pisgah gather weather of their own, and a drive off one of them can hold a slick spot for days after town has forgotten the storm. Clearing it early is the difference between a cold pretty morning and a stuck one. By the time the sun gets over the ridge and the woods start dripping, Brevard is back in motion.
