About David C. Camp Landscaping & Design

Under the old oaks near Silvermont, June light comes down in pieces, and a garden built there has to be planned for it. David C. Camp Landscaping & Design begins on paper — beds sized to the house, plants chosen for mountain shade and mountain sun, walkways set where people already walk — and then builds what was drawn. Installation is the good part: soil worked open, plantings set at the right depth, mulch pulled to a clean line, lawn areas graded and seeded. Afterward the upkeep holds those lines, because a design only stays a design if someone keeps the edges honest. A yard done this way looks settled by its second summer, as though it had always been there.
