About Carl's Grading and Landscaping, LLC

In this county the rain has opinions, and it always finds the same low corner of a yard. Carl's Grading and Landscaping, LLC starts with the shape of the ground — cutting a slope so runoff leaves instead of standing, smoothing a gravel drive that a wet spring has rutted, then setting lawn and plantings on top of ground that will hold them. Late March along the Davidson River is the honest test, hillsides shedding a week of weather while a graded lot stays firm underfoot. Landscaping follows the earthwork: beds built where they drain, turf areas established, borders set to the contour rather than against it. There is real satisfaction in a driveway you can roll straight up without picking a line.
