About A Cut Above Lawn Care and Landscaping

Boone sits high enough that summer shows up late and leaves early, and a mower here spends half its working life on a slope. A Cut Above Lawn Care and Landscaping takes on those pitched Watauga County yards — cutting across the grade, trimming the banks a deck cannot hold, edging the drive where it falls away toward the road. Mountain fescue grows thick in the cool air, especially after one of those long soaking rains that comes up the valley and settles in for a day. On early mornings the fog pools in the low ground under Howard's Knob, and the first yard gets cut out of a cloud. By the time it burns off, the lines are laid and the grass is even all the way to the bank.
