About Southern Lawn Pro

Downtown Benson is brick and low storefronts and streets wide enough for a September parade, and out past them the yards run big and flat under old pecans and pines. Southern Lawn Pro keeps those in shape with mowing, edging and string trimming, fertilization and seeding, and core aeration to open ground that traffic and clay have packed tight. A warm-season lawn cut at the right height in the right direction throws a stripe you cannot fake, and chasing it is half the pleasure of the work. When October finally cools things down, the pecans drop their leaves nearly all at once and those get raked, blown and hauled away. A yard here is the view from a front porch, and it gets treated like one.
