AB LAWNCARE

About AB LAWNCARE

The first cut of the year in Beaverdam usually comes while the geese are still working Beaver Lake and the mornings smell like wet clay. AB LAWNCARE opens the season there — mowers off the trailer, blades set to knock the winter off a lawn, edges re-cut along walks gone soft over the cold months. From then until frost it is steady weekly work through a valley where every yard sits at a slightly different angle to the sun. Spring in this corner of Buncombe County moves fast: the dogwoods bloom, the grass takes off, and keeping pace is the whole job. There's a plain pride in pulling out of a driveway with the lawn even, the walk clean and nothing left behind.
