Coopers Lawn Care

About Coopers Lawn Care

From the top of the Gallants Channel bridge the whole arrangement lays itself out — steeples, masts, and marsh running gold toward the sound in October. Coopers Lawn Care spends the autumn under that view, running mowers while the grass slows and moving leaves before they mat down over the turf. Mowing, edging, trimming, leaf removal and seasonal cleanups: plain work with a visible result, which is the best kind there is. A raked yard on a cold-bright Beaufort afternoon has a stillness to it, like a room that has just been swept. By November there is little left to do but stand back and look at it.
