Behan Lawn Care

About Behan Lawn Care

Morning comes early on Taylor's Creek, where the horses of Carrot Island stand knee-deep in the marsh grass and the water goes the color of poured tin. Behan Lawn Care works Beaufort yards in that first cool hour, before the heat lifts off the sand. Mowing, edging, string trimming and a full blow-down of the walks — the sort of round that leaves a lawn looking deliberate rather than merely short. There is real satisfaction in a boundary cut so straight it argues with the crooked old streets behind it. By the time the skiffs start running the creek, the yard is finished and the day belongs to the house again.
