About LP Outdoor Services

Northwest flow is the phrase people use around here for the days when the sky over the valley goes flat white and does not quit. LP Outdoor Services runs those days end to end, clearing driveways, lots and walkways in Banner Elk while the storm keeps refilling them behind the blade. The second pass matters as much as the first, because an inch of new fall over a plowed drive is what freezes to glaze by ten at night, so back the truck comes and sand goes down along the pitch. The satisfaction is small and specific: someone stepping outside at dusk to find gravel showing and a straight bank pushed clear of the mailbox. Winter is long above 3,000 feet, and this is how it is made passable.
