About Clear Solutions Home Care, LLC

At 3,700 feet, Banner Elk keeps its own weather, and a night that ends in rain down in the valleys ends in six inches here. Clear Solutions Home Care works the dark end of those nights, plowing steep drives above the Elk River and cutting a lane to the road before the first headlights come down off Beech Mountain. A driveway opened wide and squared at the corners, salt laid where the shade never lifts, a porch walk you can cross in slippers: that is the whole ambition. Sugar Mountain can hold a storm against the ridge for two days, so the work is patient, one pass, then a wait, then another pass. When the sun finally comes over and the rhododendron shakes itself loose, the pavement underneath has been black since before breakfast.
