About Hill Family Lawn Services

Morning comes slow over the Lumber River bottoms, fog lying in the low ground until the sun finally burns a hole through it. Hill Family Lawn Services works those first cool hours, when the sandy loam still holds the night's damp and the mower leaves a dark, even line behind it. The work is mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and blowing the clippings back off the concrete — the small moves that make a yard look looked-after from the road. Fall brings leaf cleanups, spring brings fresh mulch in the beds, and in between the lawn gets fed and kept clear of weeds. Back Swamp is flat, green country where a well-kept yard stands out like a swept porch.
