Darden’s Lawn Care

About Darden’s Lawn Care

Contentnea Creek moves slow through the low ground near Ayden, dark water under willows, and the humidity riding off it makes an eastern North Carolina morning feel like a held breath. Darden's Lawn Care is out in it early, mowing before the day turns over, then string trimming, edging and clearing the cut grass off walks and driveways. Grass in this country comes on thick and fast in that damp heat, so the route runs on rhythm. What counts at the end is how the place reads from the road: even, clipped, tidy right out to the borders. Ayden yards, and the ones in the towns just past the creek.
