About Teddy's Gardening Services

Montford's old houses came with old gardens, and every June the hydrangeas along those porches turn blue in the mountain soil. Teddy's Gardening Services tends exactly that kind of ground: beds weeded by hand, perennials cut back and divided, hedges shaped, borders defined and the lawn kept trim between them. Gardening in Asheville means reading a hillside — sun on one side of a house, deep shade on the other, and a growing season that starts late and then runs long. By November the beds are put to rest, the leaves are carried off, and everything is squared away for the cold months at two thousand feet. Garden and lawn care for Asheville's shaded, hilly, well-planted streets.
