About Anderson's Mowing &Landscaping

Late-summer afternoons in Davidson County announce themselves early: a bruise of cloud stacking up west beyond the Yadkin, the air going still, the fescue holding its breath. Work gets planned around that — the big open yards cut in the cool of the morning, the shaded ones saved for after the rain has rinsed dust off the leaves. Mowing, trimming and edging come as one job here, finished with a blower that leaves the drive and the front steps clear. Grass in this red-clay country races through a wet week and sulks in a dry one, so the schedule bends to whatever the sky is doing. Come evening the mown rows lie flat and even, and the yard smells green all the way out to the road.
